Señorío de P. Peciña Rosado is a rosé wine produced by Bodegas Hermano Peciña in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, D.O.Ca. Rioja.
Bodegas Hermanos Peciña was founded in 1992 by Pedro Peciña Crespo with his three children.
Pedro's experience in grape production, gathered over the years, served him to start the project of this winery. The management is carried out by his children and his son-in-law.
The winery has 50 hectares of its own vineyard, a production capacity of 1,000,000 kilos of grape, 3,500 oak barrels perfectly arranged in two underground warehouses, and an ageing warehouse for 500,000 bottles.
Señorío de P. Peciña Rosado is a wine made from 100% Grenache, from one of their own vineyards, La Tejera, located at 600 metres of altitude in San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
They are manually harvested and placed in 15-kg boxes. Grapes are selected on a vibrating selection table. The must goes through maceration for 12 hours before it is pressed. It ferments for 15 days at a controlled temperature, 18ºC, in stainless steel deposits.
Señorío de P. Peciña Rosado is a fresh, fruit-laden wine, with a marked Rioja character.
