Rossignol Changarnier Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons is an organic monovarietal Pinot Noir red wine produced by Domaine Régis Rossignol-Changarnier in Burgundy.
Domaine Régis Rossignol-Changarnier is a winery that farms 7.2 hectares distributed among the municipalities of Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune and Mersault. It cultivates Chardonnay and Pinot Noir , practising a style of farming that respects nature and the vine. It understands that to make a good wine the first thing is to have great grape quality. The vineyard in Beaune, located between Savigny lès Beaune in the north and Pommard in the south, is the largest in the Côte de Beaune. There are no Grands Crus among its vineyards, but it has 36 Premiers Crus!
Rossignol Changarnier Beaune 1st Cru Les Theurons is harvested by hand, and almost all of it is vatted without destemming. The wine ages for 12 to 13 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new, and to finish polishing it spends 3 years in the bottle before going on the market.
Rossignol Changarnier Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons is a good demonstration of the Pinot Noir from Beaune. If kept in optimal conditions, it will be able to be enjoyed 15 years after its production.
