Rioja Vega 9 Barricas is a red wine from the D.O La Rioja produced by Bodega Rioja Vega. This is a blend of the varieties Tempranillo (50%) and Garnacha (50%).

After the harvest and the traditional winemaking processes, Rioja Vega 9 Barricas is aged in American barrels for 20 months.

Bodega Rioja Vega was established in 1882 by Felipe Ugalde, one of the pioneers of wine production in La Rioja. This winery remains today as one of the most well known in the region.
