Characteristics of Recaredo Intens Brut Nature Rosat

Recaredo Interns Brut Nature Rosat Is a cava from the appellation of origin (D.O) Cava produced by the winery Recaredo. It is a blend of Monastrell (41%), Pinot (41%) and Garnacha (18%).
The grapes originate exclusively from vineyards situated in the Alt Penedès. The harvest is completed by hand, to prevent any premature fermentation.

The grapes are grown according to the organic principles marked by the stamp of guaranty Demeter.

The colour of Recaredo Intens Brut Nature Rosat is obtained by the maceration of the must with its husks for 6 hours.

The wine is aged in the bottle with natural cork. For reasons that these are organic and easy to recycle.

Recaredo Intens Brut Nature Rosat is refined manually by the use of a shaking rack and by a process that is called, disgorgement, all of which is conducted at a natural and fresh temperature.

Recaredo Mata Figueres was founded in 1878 in Sant Sadurí d'Anoia. Some years later, in 1924, Josep Mata Capellades started in the world of cava and produced his first few bottles. It was Josep that founded what we know now as the winery Recaredo.

Tasting notes Recaredo Intens Brut Nature Rosat

Sight Pink colour with presence of fine bubbles. Nose Aromas of mature red fruit together with touches of spice. Tones of balsamic that bring a certain freshness and light fragrant floral and toasted notes. Taste The carbonic elements are well integrated, strong presence of red fruit. Good acidity and perseverance. Wide and moreish. Good long finish.
Sight Intense pink colour with subtle salmon colour reflections. Thin and abundant bubbles. Nose The notes of rather ripe red fruit dominate the nose. From the beginning they are released along with fine spices. Little by little, very tasty notes of bakery appear on its good balsamic herbal background. Taste A very elegant rosé cava with very expressive notes of spicy and creamy but not very sweety fruit. It shows a dry and fresh mid palate, with a well-integrated fizziness and an excellent acidity. Its good finish shows a good and nice persistence.  A cava with its own personality, to be enjoyed in relaxed moments.
Sight Cherry salmon colored touches. Continuous fine bubbles and forms a good rosary. Nose The nose has a good expression of fruit without coming to a great intensity. Lots of red fruit with some floral and herbaceous. Taste It is a very dry rosé cava. With good expression, we found lot of sour red fruit with a touch creamy smooth and vinous. Very good acidity. Long finish.

Winery Recaredo

Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
