Characteristics of Pujanza Cisma
New vintage of one of the best red wines from the Q.D.O. Rioja. Pujanza Cisma 2009 comes from a very limited production since it is made of Tempranillo grapes from a single estate planted in 1925 and located at 600m altitude. Wine-making with the destemmed grapes in French oak deposits. Cold pre-fermentation in the same oak deposits. It is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels from Allier and Tronçais and is left to stand in the bottle for some more months. Great ageing capacity.
