Pinord Lluna Nova Xarel·lo is a D.O. Penedès white wine by Pinord.
A single varietal Xarel·lo. The grapes are farmed on the finca de Muntanyans estate. They are grown organically from 70 year old vines, according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
The wine ferments in the barrel, and is bottled when deemed ready by its tasters.

But the reality is, given the vast diversity, it can be difficult to pinpoint what really defines a wine from Penedès, since there are so many types of wines and wineries in the region.
