Partida Creus Trepat
is a red wine without denomination of origin produced by Celler Partida Creus
(Baix Penedés), Tarragona.Celler Partida Creus
is a small winery created by Antonella Gerosa
and Massimo Marchiori
in an industrial warehouse that was renovated with recycled materials. Partners and producers of Slow Food apply this philosophy to the vineyard, respecting nature to the fullest and recovering old traditions in the lands they cultivate. Celler Partida de Creus
has small plots with narrow rows of vines, thus avoiding invasive mechanical work. This, alongside the absence of chemical treatments, emphasizing biodynamic cycles and moon phases, result in a very limited production of grapes of an excellent biological quality.Partida Creus Trepat
is a natural wine made with Trepat
from their own vineyards planted on clayey-calcareous soils.
The harvest is carried out manually. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, part of them macerate with the stems and after the stomping, they ferment with native yeasts. The malolactic fermentation is spontaneous, with native bacteria. It is bottled without added sulphur.Partida Creus Trepat
is a fruity, balanced and fresh wine. On the nose, the aromas of ripe red fruit with light notes of Mediterranean herbs intensely show through. In the mouth, it is light, easy to drink and very refreshing.
