Poderi e Cantine Oddero is a historic family winery among producers in Barolo. It was founded in 1878 in Langhe, in Piedmont. It is currently run by the same family that founded it. They have 35 hectares of vineyards and work based on traditional know-how and using new processing techniques to produce high quality grapes and wines.
Oddero Langhe Collaretto ferments in stainless steel tanks and the wine is then aged on lees for about 6 months to bring more creaminess and touches of bakery to wine.
Oddero Langhe Collaretto is a pleasant wine in the nose and on the palate. It has aromas of white fruit, citrus and mineral touches and is full and tasty on the palate.
Oddero Langhe Collaretto 2015 is a wine that is rich and full on the nose, with citrus notes and touches of tropical fruit. At the moment of sipping, the fruit is ripe and full, but is still it tonic and slender. It is a smooth and pleasant mineral wine.
