Characteristics of Mysti
Mysti is a young red wine from the IO Montsant, located in the Priorat region in the province of Tarragona. Mysiti is prepared by the Berdie Cava Project, a champagne and wine producer in the region of Penedes since the 80s. Mysti is made from the Syrah variety, from vines over 15 years old which are harvested manually.
Before fermentation occurs, maceration takes place for 15 days. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Finally, aging is done in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Best served at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.

The DO Montsant is situated in the province of Tarragona, surrounding the DOQ Priorat. Although a young Denominación de Origen, The DO Monstant is located in a land with a large history in winemaking. The wines, mostly reds, are typically made with Grenache and Carignan grapes and are authentic, wild and artisanal. Wines produced in this region are usually extremely good value given the high quality.
