Milan Nestarec Trblmkr is a natural barrel-aged white wine made by Milan Nestarec with the Neuburger variety in Moravia (Czech Republic).
Milan Nestarec is a young Czech winery that seeks maximum originality and vitality in its wide range of wines. Having been greatly influenced by Aleš Kristančič from Movia, one of the great producers of orange wine, Milan Nestarec works the 8 hectares of vineyards planted by his father in 2001 according to ecological principles and makes wines with minimal intervention. As a result he creates pleasant, energetic and natural wines.
Milan Nestarec Trblmkr comes from 16-year-old vines planted in loess soils and cultivated without using herbicides or any other chemicals that can damage the terroir’s natural balance. Instead, he practices organic cultivation using biodynamic techniques and limiting the yield to 35 hl/ha. All work in the field, from pruning to harvesting, is done manually.
In the winery, the destemmed Milan Nestarec Trblmkr grapes are pressed and placed in 3-year-old used wooden barrels with a capacities of 600 and 1,000 litres. There they ferment spontaneously with native yeasts for 1 month, breaking the cap occasionally. Once the wine is made, it is left in these same barrels for about 19 months with the occasional battonage. It is finally bottled without being filtered, refined or adding sulphur.
Milan Nestarec Trblmkr is made with Neuburger, the favourite variety of a young winemaker who is turning heads in the world of wine. Pure freshness in the most natural style.
