Characteristics of Més que Paraules Negre
Més Que Paraules Negre is a red wine from Pla de Bages produced by the Més Que Paraules winery. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sumoll.
The grapes for Més Que Paraules Negre undergo a traditional method. The different varieties are processed separately.
Once in the winery, grapes are macerated for a month at controlled temperatures. After, a spontaneous fermentation process is carried out for about two weeks at 25 degrees. Més Que Paraules Negre is then fermented in stainless steel.
This wine is finally aged for between 10 and 12 months in French oak barrels of first and second year of 225 litres before resting in bottle and being sold.
Bages is a historic area for producing good wines. The Més Que Paraules team, formed by entrepreneurs and wine lovers, has given a new impetus to the designation of origin.
