Characteristics of Marqués de Riscal Rosado
Marqués de Riscal Rosado is a rosé wine from the appellation of origin (D.O) Rioja produced by Marqués de Riscal. This winery is found in the town of El Ciego, in the south of La Rioja Alavesa.
Marqués de Riscal Rosado is produced from the varieties Tempranillo (60%) and Garnacha (40%). The grapes originate from young vines of about 15 years old.
For production, the technique of bleeding or saignée is used, in which the husks are separated from the must to obtain a liquid without any solid residuals. Subsequently, the wine is fermented in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 14-16ºC.

Talking about the winery Marqués de Riscal means talking about prestige, innovation, non-conformism and quality, values that have been shown since 1858, when this winery was founded. We are in front of the oldest wineries within the D.O. Rioja, essential in the birth of the D.O.
