Características de Magaña Dignus

Magaña Dignus is a red wine made by Bodegas Viña Magaña in Navarra.

It is made from a blend of Tempranillo as the main variety, with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The production begins with destemming before a cold maceration. The wine is fermented at a controlled temperature. Once fermentation is complete, Magaña Dignus spends 10 months aging in French oak barrels, without losing its fruitiness.

Magaña Dignus is a Navarra wine that stands out for its freshness and fruitiness.

Tasting notes Magaña Dignus

Sight Deep cherry red with a purple rim. Nose The nose shows ripe fruit with slight toasted notes from aging. Taste The taste is a powerful, concentrated wine with lots of flavour. Good acidity with ripe tannins. Aftertaste is long and persistent.

Winery Viña Magaña

Some wine regions have to bear the weight of their own prestige and fame, and this is certainly the case for Navarra. For many years, the white and reds produced in this region came second to the rosés produced here with the noble Grenacha variety. However, the last two decades have seen ongoing changes in the wine-making sector in Navarra, changes which have completely transformed the styles of wine produced and have been consistently worthwhile, resulting in  some of the white and red wines produced in Navarra being ranked among best rated in Spain.
