Characteristics of Luzón Roble
Luzón Roble is a red wine from the Jumilla region produced. The wine is produced using only Monastrell grapes.
The harvest is carried out both manually and mechanically. The winery spans more than 500 hectares, all of which is used for their products. After being transported to the winey, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation followed by maceration with the skins still on in stainless steel tanks. This second phase is carried out at a strict controlled temperature of 24-26 degrees.
Before being bottled and marketed, the wine undergoes a short ageing process, spending 4 months in French and American oak barrels.
Luzón is located in the north of the Murcia region and surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most prominent wineries of the Jumilla. It's trademark grape is the Monastrell.

DO Jumilla is located on a high plain in the eastern region of Spain, acting as a transition zone between the Mediterranean coastal area and the high central plateau of Castile-La Mancha. The vineyards of Jumilla are spread over the municipality of Jumilla, in Murcia, and six counties in the southeast of the province of Albacete: Ontur, Tobarra, Albatana, Hellin, Montealegre and Fuente Alamo. The main variety of the area is the Monastrell grape variety, a noble and robust variety which produces small bunches of small dark-coloured grapes very rich in sugars and other noble components.
