Luzón Colección Rosado is a young rosé produced by Bodega Luzón with the star variety of D.O. Jumilla, Monastrell.
They make their Luzón wines with modern systems and cutting-edge technology. This is a winery that, although it has been working the vineyards for more than 100 years, doesn’t lag behind when it comes to innovation. If its lengthy experience and tradition is added to this, the result is highly personal wines with a strong Jumilla character.
The Monastrell variety for Luzón Rosado Colección comes from trellised vines with an average age of 20 years and planted in limestone soils at an altitude higher than 500 metres above sea level. The harvest is carried out at dawn and is performed mechanically to keep the grapes fresh.
Once the grapes are separated from the stems and pressed lightly, the Luzón Colección must is racked and clarified in order to ferment for 20 days at a controlled temperature of between 10 and 16ºC.
Luzón Colección Rosado is a wine made with the Monastrell variety in its most refreshing version.
