Characteristics of Legaris Reserva
A new Legaris Reserva vintage; the 2010 vintage was classed as excellent from Ribera del Duero. There are many expectations for this wine as the older vintage was awarded a Medaille D'Argent (Silver Medal) at Vinalies 2013, Bronze medal at Dallas Morning WC 2013, Bacchus de Plata (Silver Bacchus) at Bacchus and Medaille D'Argent (Silver Medal) at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2013 among others.
This wine is a single variety Tinta Fina which reflects the character of the winery.
Legaris is a winery responsible for the production of this wine, a winery owned by the Grupo Codorniu. The aging takes place for 13 months in new French oak barrels of distinctive cooperage, grain and toasts that are proportioned to the distinctive nuances in the wine. After the bottling it rests in the winery for a few months.
