Julien Brocard Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is a monovarietal Chardonnay white wine from the AOC Chablis Grand Cru produced by Julien Brocard.
Julien Brocard is the son of Jean Marc Brocard. In 2012 he launched his 7 Lieux range, comprising 7 wines made from plots in Domaine Brocard, the family's winery. All these plots have been cultivated biodynamically, the first since 1998. In this collection, he seeks to express the typical character of Chablis soils. The winery also has 22 foudres with a capacity ranging from 1,500 litres to 10,000 litres, so it can respond to the plots and give each one what it needs.
Julien Brocard Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is made by vinifying in a non-interventionist way so that the grape expresses the uniqueness of the wines. The must ferments in foudres and the bottles are sealed hand-waxed and wrapped in tissue paper.
Julien Brocard Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is a complex and fresh wine that is pleasant on the palate and has a lingering aftertaste.
