Characteristics of Jordi Miró Ennak Negre
Jordi Miró Ennak Negre is a red wine produced by the winery Jordi Miró in Corbera d’Ebre, D.O.Terra Alta.
In 1999 Jordi Miró started this personal project by planting his first vineyard. After working in the wine industry, more specifically in the retail area, he decided to begin this journey and start making his own wines. In 2009 he built his own winery.
Jordi Miró works with local varieties like Carignan, Tempranillo, Red and White Grenache, as well as with international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. He makes wines with their own particular style, with the aim of differentiating itself from others in an original way. He cultivates his vineyards organically.
Jordi Miró Ennak Negre is a young wine made from four varieties and two different winemaking processes. The Merlot and Tempranillo varieties ferment together at 16 °C , with 2 daily pump-overs and a final fermentation without the skins. Soft pressing and malolactic fermentation in the same deposit. Red Grenache and Carignan ferment with their skins until the process ends. Then, they are softly pressed and go through malolactic fermentation in the deposit.
Jordi Miró Ennak Negre is a fresh, soft, light wine. A fun, easy to drink wine.

Wines from Terra Alta boast a unique character. This is down to numerous factors, including the region's unique wine culture, the location of the vineyards in the inland Mediterranean, and the abundance of native varieties including the Garnacha Blanca, whose white wines perhaps best express the unique character of the terroir. It is for this reason that these wines hold their own distinctive classification of “Terra Alta Garnacha Blanca”.
