Jardins Blanc is a white wine produced by the winery Castillo de Perelada in Perelada (Girona), D.O. Empordà.
The winery Castillo de Perelada was founded in 1976, although the castle was acquired by the family in 1923. With the same style, it gathers a winemaking tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages.
Castillo de Perelada is a large and important winery. It produces a wide and complete range of wines, so its production facilities are an example of state-of-the-art winery technology. However, a large part of its work philosophy lies within the land, in the vineyards and in the vines. Therefore, Perelada has several plots of vineyards located in different areas, on different soils and microclimates within D.O. Empordà.
Currently, the winery exports to more than 56 countries, and produced in several denominations of origin in the Spanish territory.
Jardins Blanc is a wine made fromSauvignon Blanc, Maccabeu, WhiteGrenache and Chardonnay.
Once the harvest arrives at the winery, the flor must ferments in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
Jardins Blanc is a light, aromatic and balanced wine. It stands out for its intensity on the nose, with fresh fruit, tropical fruit and very flowery. In the mouth it is long and very fresh.

The landscape of the region of Empordà, located in the northeast of Catalonia, is full of contrasts, due to the natural limits of the Pyrenees in the north and the Mediterranean Sea and magnificent Costa Brava in the east. Thanks to these, the Empordà is a unique place, a special territory between the sea and the mountains, marked by the presence of the north wind known as Tramontana.
Historically, the great economic engine of D.O. Empordà has been and still is Perelada. Many other wineries have looked up to them. Although it produces a wide range of wines, from the more linear and competitive ones to the those that are more exclusive, such as Finca Garbet, the Finca Malaveïna or the Ex Ex collection, among others, it also offers wines made with native varieties, such as the Red and White Grenache, Samsó, etc. However, more than the numerical weight of the wine variety, we must point out the effort made by this winery to halt the progressive decline suffered by the area's image, as a land of bulk wines, where the few bottled wines were oxidised, and others were not too marketable. It is safe to say that Perelada lead the way and marked the new path of the Empordà wines.
