Inés Vizcarra 2009 owes its name to Juan Carlos Vizcarra's second son. it's a red wine blend of 90% Tinto Fino (50-year-old vines) complimented by 10% Merlot (11-year-old vines), made by Bodegas Vizcarra, one of the most promising wineries, gaining in prestige and awards in the Ribera del Duero, the Designation of Origen that has recently been recognized as the best winegrowing region in the world 2012 by the Wine Star Awards, awards given by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast. It ages for 16 months in oak barrels, half French and half American.
