I Tant Garnacha 2011 is a red wine made by Joan Angel and Josep Serra in the D.O. Montsant for I Tant Vins, a new project that along with I Tant Garnacha Blanca from Terra Alta offers us a selection of wines made with local varieties that reflect the authenticity of the region from which they come.

SightAn intense ruby red colour, clean and very bright.NoseMedium-high intensity nose in which juicy ripe fruit stands out, ripe and fleshy. Aromas of spices, balsamic notes and fine toasted notes gradually appear. TasteOn the palate, after a good attack, this wine is surprisingly silky. It has a good concentration of fruit and a defined, refreshing acidity which becomes the guiding thread. Long and persistent finish. Very good value for money.
The DO Montsant is situated in the province of Tarragona, surrounding the DOQ Priorat. Although a young Denominación de Origen, The DO Monstant is located in a land with a large history in winemaking. The wines, mostly reds, are typically made with Grenache and Carignan grapes and are authentic, wild and artisanal. Wines produced in this region are usually extremely good value given the high quality.
