Characteristics of Homenaje Rosado
Homenaje Joven Rosado is a rose wine from Navarra prepared by Marco Real, a winery founded in 1989 and belonging to the group of wineries called Familia Belasco.
The climate in this area is special because it brings together both Atlantic, continental and Mediterranean climates due to the location of the area. The vineyards are influenced by the Cantabrian Sea, the Pyrenees and the Ebro valley. This wine is a varietal Grenache (100%) from 200 hectares of vineyards located in the towns of Olite, Sansol, Torres Del Rio, Corella and Santacara. Regarding the development, after the stripping of the grapes, the traditional method of bleeding is used. Subsequently, the grapes undergo maceration for 10 hours and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20-22 ° C.

The nose is complex and is presented with clear aromas of red fruits like blackberry, strawberry and cherry with notes of citrus and orange peel.
The palate is fruity, sweet, elegant and fresh. It has a very pleasant aftertaste and is inviting to drink.

Some wine regions have to bear the weight of their own prestige and fame, and this is certainly the case for Navarra. However, the last two decades have seen ongoing changes in the wine-making sector in Navarra, changes which have completely transformed the styles of wine produced and have been consistently worthwhile, resulting in some of the white and red wines produced in Navarra being ranked among best rated in Spain.
The Marco Real winery was opened in 1991. Cultivates tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and Graciano. The vineyards are owned by the family Belasco for over 40 years. The fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. This winery has always been characterized by respect for the wine and the land it comes from.
