Characteristics of Hado
Hado is a red wine from the Rioja produced by Bodegas Pujanza. Located in the town of Laguardia, the winery is located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa.
Hado is made from 100% Tempranillo. The grapes come from old vines about 35 years old, planted at an altitude of 600m on calcareous clay soil.
For processing, a pre-fermentation maceration takes place for 5 days and a subsequent fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26ºC. After fermentation, the wine undergoes a maceration with the skins for about 20 days.
Finally, Hado is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
