Characteristics of Habla nº13
Habla Nº13 is a red wine from V.T Extremadura produced by the winery Habla. This wine is made exclusively with the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety.
The winery’s 200 hectares of vineyards are divided among 68 different plots, each worked individually, organically cultivated and worked without the use of pesticides or herbicides. The vineyards are home to little fertile slate soils and are relatively young, having been planted back in 1999.
The climate is principally characterised by a strong contrast in temperatures between day and night, which allows for an excellent ripening of the grapes. During the summer, the grapes pass through a first selection process through green pruning. Once the harvest is carried out, the grapes for Habla Nº13 are moved to the winery and are pressed and then undergo maceration for one week. Fermentation is then carried out at a controlled temperature of 26ºC. The following phase of maceration lasts 20 days.
After having extracted the best characteristics from the must, Habla Nº13 then ages for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Habla is a winery in Extremadura that uses the most advanced techniques to produce their wines. The company produces unique and unrepeatable products every vintage, aware as is the technical team that nature takes its course and grapes, as the years pass, evolves over time.
