Characteristics of Grappa Sarpa Barrique Di Poli
The prestigious Jacopo Poli is an artisan distillery owned by the Poli family, founded in 1898 in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of the Veneto, the most traditional region for producing Grappa.
Sarpa Barrique is a grappa made from Merlot and Cabernet grapes. It is aged in 225 litre oak barrels for 4 years. It is distilled in the traditional way in small lots, with a discontinuous copper still provided with steam pots. In its elegant simplicity it holds the whole history and passion for distilling of the Poli family.
