Foss Marai Surfine Brut Cuvée is a prosecco made in Veneto (Italy) by Foss Marai with the Sauvignon Blanc variety.
One of the largest producers of Italian sparkling wine, Foss Marai has a great selection of quality products. To make their wines, Carlos Biasiotto has worked hard since 1986, combining a whole family effort with the most advanced technology.
Foss Marai Surfine Brut Cuvée comes from vines planted in a beautiful but hard to access area. Their viticulture has to be adapted for the land, which means they mainly rely on manual work and the utmost respect for the terroir and the vine. The strain yield is limited and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
In the winery, the Foss Marai Surfine Brut Cuvée grapes are destemmed and slowly pressed. After the base wine has fermented, a second fermentation begins, with some of the wine in small oak barrels for 6 months and the rest in stainless steel. Finally the expedition liqueur is added (10 grams / litre of sugar).
Foss Marai Surfine Brut Cuvée is a young, white and sparkling wine typical of northern Italy. An authentic prosecco with a delicate and fresh aroma.
