Flor de Vetus Verdejo is a white wine from Rueda produced by Bodega Vetus. The winery is located in Villabuena del Puente (Zamora).
Flor de Vetus is a 100% Verdejo. The grapes come from old vines located in the westernmost part of Rueda in Segovia, at an altitude of about 900 metres. The vineyards are planted on hillsides with very sandy soils
Its development begins with a manual harvest during the last week of August. After crushing and stemming the grapes, fermentation is done in stainless steel.
Before bottling it is clarified and stabilized cold.
