Characteristics of El Pacto Crianza
El Pacto Crianza is a red wine from the D.O La Rioja produced by Bodega Classica. This wine is a blend of two different grape varieties: Garnacha and Tempranillo.
The microclimate of the region is ideal for the cultivation of vineyards: with ideal humidity, rainfall princely in winterit is added a perfect wine that heals the vineyard and a very broken topography which is composed of multiple slopes and terraces.
The grapes used to make El Pacto Crianza come from old vines, ranging between 50 and 80 years old, situated in La Sonsierra. The harvest is carried out manually and with care, to ensure that the grapes are not damaged, while only small 15kg capacity boxes are used to transport the grapes to ensure they do not break prematurely on their journey. At the winery, a selection of the harvest is carried out to ensure only the best grapes are used.
El Pacto Crianza is aged for 16 months at a fixed temperature between 14 and 16ºC in French and American oak barrels before being bottled and placed onto the market.
Bodega Classica is home to 5,000 barrels, which aged their wines. The winery produces wines following traditional methods, as suggested by the name.
