Characteristics of El Nómada
El Nómada is a red wine from the appellations of origins (D.O) La Rioja produced by Finca de la Rica. It is a blend of Tempranillo (90%) and Graciano (10%).
The grapes of El Nómada grow in calcareous clayey soil. The parcels of land are located at 610 meters above sea level.
The vines are south facing and with an average age of 60 years old. The harvest is in the third week of October. El Nómada is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. Before being bottled, it is treated with egg whites as a refining process.
Finca de la Rica is one the most historical viticulture wineries of La Rioja, already in its fourth generation of ownership. 31 hectares of vineyards distributed over 25 parcels of lands.
