Deep, iodine black. Dense. Nose
This wine offers a nose so rich that there are not enough adjectives to describe it: Liquorice, chocolate, nutmeg, woodwork, sweet spices, toast, bakery goods, almond cream… Spectacular! Taste
Broad, enticing, velvety, sweet, acidic, salty, bitter. We find ourselves before a white wine with flavours of raisins and red fruit which provide freshness, and dried fruit, hazelnuts and toasted almonds which add sobriety, with a wood background which subtly embraces the set and makes it persistent.
Don Px Convento Selección 1931 is a full and concentrated sweet wine. After 84 years in the barrel, one of the best vintages of this sweet wine is bottled. More than a sweet wine, it is almost like a dessert in itself. Explosion of aromas on the nose, dry grass, ash notes, liquorice, carob, incense and noble woods. In the mouth, it is very sweet, dense, almost chewable. A total delicacy.
