Characteristics of David Duband Chambolle-Musigny

David Duband Chambolle-Musigny is a red wine made in the AOC Chambolle-Musigny denomination in Burgundy by David Duband using the Pinot Noir variety.

David Duband knows the Côte de Nuits well and knows how to get the most out of it whilst also respecting the character of each vine. He has a total of 17 hectares, which he has been cultivating under Ecocert ecological principles since 2001, are that is what provides the raw material to produce wines from 5 of the region’s most prestigious denominations. Elegant wines that are a direct reflection of each terroir.

David Duband Chambolle-Musigny comes from vines with an average age of 40 years old, planted on clay-limestone soil. Taking into account the biodiversity, existing natural resources are used. No synthetic chemicals are used and the natural balance of the strain and terroir are protected. The grapes are harvested by hand.

After passing over the selection table, the David Duband Chambolle-Musigny grapes are vinified with 80% of whole grapes over 17 days with cap plunges and pump overs. After being gently pressed, the wine is decanted over 2 weeks and put into barrels; 60% in used barrels and 40% in new. It then ages for 14 months. After aging, the wine is stabilised in vats for 3 months and is bottled without filtering.

David Duband Chambolle-Musigny is a red wine that comes from one of the great vineyards in the prestigious Burgundy region. Elegance in a glass.
