The distillation process of Crystal Head Vodka is 100 percent pure. It is produced from high quality grains and spring waters from Terranova, Canada. Crystal Head is quadruple distilled and filtered seven times. In its final phase, the liquid is filtered three times through layers of 500 million year old crystals known as Herkimer diamonds. No glycerol, citrus oils or sugars are added in Crystal Head's production. The end result is a pure, exceptionally smooth spirit.
The bottle was designed by actor Dan Aykroyd, who has starred in films such as Ghostbusters, and artist John Alexander. They were inspired by the legend of the thirteen crystal skulls that have been found all over the world, from the United States to Tibet. The heads were made to offer spiritual strength and illumination to those that owned them, and as such, were not considered symbols of death, but rather of life. They are between 5,000 and 35,000 years old, and were polished into solid quartz shapes over several hundred years. One would expect to find traces of human carving on them, but none are to be found -- a true mystery.
Crystal Head Vodka is the official vodka of the 50th Anniversary tour of the British rock band The Rolling Stones.
