Characteristics of Conde Siruela Crianza
Conde Siruela Crianza is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made by Bodega Frutos Villar. Frutos Villar bought Bodegas Santa Eulalia, a winery in the Ribera del Duero, in 1988, the winery where they make Conde Siruela Crianza.
Conde Siruela Crianza is made 100% with Tempranillo grapes. It goes through the traditional winemaking process in 35,000 l stainless steel deposits with 3 pump-overs a day lasting for 30 minutes during the wine's 15-18 days of fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25-30ºC. The wine is then devatted and left to rest before filling the barrels.
This wine has been aged for 12 and 18 months in American (60%) and French (40%) barrels with rackings every 3 or 6 months. Lastly, it ages for at least 6 months in the bottle before going on sale.
