Come Vaca y Bebe Vino is a wine from the Bienbebido collection produced by Castillo de Maetierra, made from Tempranillo and Merlot grapes.
The Bienbebido collection appeared when Vintae decided to create a wine that combined different plates like ham, octopus, paella, pork, cheese, beef and chicken. In order to complete their mission they brought together a group of chefs, sommeliers and oenologists so they could decide the best grapes or the best coupage for these plates.
To accompany meat they chose a well-structured wine, powerful and complex with a lot of body.
This wine undergoes a fermentation and maceration in crates of 15,000 kilos at a temperature of 28 degree for a period of 20 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels. Finally it ages in the barrel for 16 months.
