Characteristics of Come Pollo y Bebe Vino
Come Pollo y Bebe Vino is a wine from the Bienbebido collection produced by Castillo de Maetierra, made from 100% Garnacha and grown on old vines that can be found at an altitude of 800 meters in the Ribera de Queiles area.
The Bienbebido collection appeared when Vintae decided to create a wine that combined different plates like ham, octopus, paella, pork, cheese, beef and chicken. In order to complete their mission they brought together a group of chefs, sommeliers and oenologists so they could decide the best grapes or the best coupage for these plates.
In this case, they came to the conclusion that the best option for chicken would be a wine made from Garnacha, fresh, medium bodied and light tannins.
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel deposits at a temperature below 25ºC. After it undergoes a maceration for 14 days. Afterwards, this wine undergoes an aging for 5 months in French oak barrels.
