Characteristics of Come Jamón y Bebe Vino

Come Jamón y Bebe Vino is a wine from the Bienbebido collection produced by Castillo de Maetierra made completely from Tempranillo grapes that are grown on old local vines located near the River Ebro and the Sierra de Cantabria in La Rioja.
The Bienbebido collection appeared when Vintae decided to create a wine that combined different plates like ham, octopus, paella, pork, cheese, beef and chicken. In order to complete their mission they brought together a group of chefs, sommeliers and oenologists so they could decide the best grapes or the best coupage for these plates.
In this case, they agreed that the ham would go best with fresh wine with lots of fruit and roundness, and then there is a 4 month aging in new French oak barrels.

Tasting notes Come Jamón y Bebe Vino

Sight Dark cherry red colour with violet reflections. Nose Complex. Aromas of red fruits and liquorice from the Tempranillo combined with a roasted touch from the barrel. Taste Nice, sweet attack, followed by the correct acidity and ripe tannins, resulting in a long and enjoyable aftertaste.
