Characteristics of Cigonyes Tinto

Cigonyes Tinto is a D.O. Empordà red wine by Castillo de Perelada.
A coupage of Garnacha (90 percent) and Syrah (10 percent). It ages for six months in French oak, second wine barrels.

Alcohol: 14.5%

Sight Lively purple. Nose Intense red and dark fruit aromas, well combined with discrete and fine barrel ageing notes. Taste Balanced, persistent and savoury with good acidity. A silky wine with an engulfing and pleasant finish.

The landscape of the region of Empordà, located in the northeast of Catalonia, is full of contrasts, due to the natural limits of the Pyrenees in the north and the Mediterranean Sea and magnificent Costa Brava in the east.
