Château Pibarnon Blanc is a white wine coupage of Clairette, Bourboulenc and other local varieties produced by Château de Pibarnon, in Bandol, Provence.
Chateau Pibarnon is a winery located in Bandol. It has about 50 hectares of vineyards, and has practised organic agriculture since 2003. The soils of its estates are calcareous and have blue marl in the subsoil. They are located 300 metres above sea level, are terraced, and the approximate yields are 30 to 38 hl per hectare - low yields that guarantee a balanced and concentrated grape.
The grapes for Château Pibarnon Blanc are harvested by hand into 20 kg boxes. When they arrive in the cellar, they are pressed directly and the must is cold-racked. The final wine undergoes an ageing of about 3 months in 300 litre foudres.
Château Pibarnon Blanc is a fresh and balanced wine with creamy and fruity touches.
