Charlopin-Parizot Clos Fixin is a single-variety Pinot Noir red wine produced by Domaine Charlopin-Parizot under the A.O.C. Fixin in Burgundy, France.
Domaine Philippe and Yan Charlopin, created in 1977, is a family winery located in Gevrey Chambertine, in the world-famous Burgundy region, which started with one hectare of vineyards but currently has 25 hectares spread across the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Chablis areas.
Philippe Charlopin had humble beginnings. He started working in rented vineyards. Today Philippe and his son Yan, passionate about white wines, cultivate 25 hectares of their own vineyards with the aim of making wines that can be enjoyed young but that are also good when they have aged for a few years.
Charlopin-Parizot Clos Fixin is made with grapes from plots with clay-calcareous soils that are usually destemmed and vinified when they reach the winery. The resulting wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Charlopin-Parizot Clos Fixin offers an honest experience of a sharp and fresh Pinot Noir that is full of vivacity and youth.
