Chapoutier Invitare Condrieu is a monovarietal Viogner white wine from Apellation Condrieu Controlée produced by Maison Chapoutier.
The soils of the vineyard where the grapes for Chapoutier Invitare Condrieuare grown are composed of shales and granites. This type of soil gives the wine freshness and minerality. The harvest is carried out manually when the grapes are at their optimum ripeness.
The grapes for Chapitaire Invitare Condrieu are pressed when they arrive in the winery, and the must is cold-racked for 48 hours to leave it free of impurities, and to ensure that the fermentation is clean. Then it is fermented at a maximum temperature of 18 ºC to extract and preserve fresh and fruity aromas. Lastly the wine is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, 15% of which are new and the rest in demi-muids, 600 litre barrels, that have had one or two uses.
