Intense dark cherry colour with a maroon edges. Clean and bright wine with abundant tears that stain the glass. Nose
Very intense, complex and fresh aromas with lots of ripe black fruit that gains in expressiveness when the wine opens up. Its abundant notes of spices nuance the intensity of the fruit. When it opens up, toasted, smoked and milky notes are released along with lots of chocolate, coffee and tobacco. A touch of liqueur, subtle floral and vegetable notes are also noticed on its powerful balsamic background.
A wine that gains in complexity with time. Taste
The warm, full bodied, bulky and embracing Cap de Babaria has a broad and powerful attack and a very tasty mid palate with notes of fruit and very noticeable wooden aromas. It has a surprising saline touch. Its excellent acidity provides it with a good freshness and its tannins are well balanced and pleasant. Its finish is not very long but it has a good persistance and leaves toasted and herbal aromas.
Very elegant and tasty wine. A great wine that will surprise you!
