Cantina Margò Bianco is a natural white wine made with the Trebbiano variety by Cantina Margò in the IGP Umbria (Italy).
The man behind Cantina Margò is Carlo Tabarrini, who following his dreams by leaving his job at the chocolate to devote himself to what he really loved: the vineyard and wine. His hard work is captured in each of his natural and biodynamic creations.
Cantina Margò Bianco comes from vineyards between 20 and 45 years old, sitting at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, in clay soils rich in loam, clay and limestone with good minerality. He uses organic and biodynamic agriculture with natural preparations made from manure and herbs applying them in line with the astronomical calendar. He uses minimal machinery and the harvest is manual.
The Cantina Margò Bianco grape is destemmed and spends 6 days macerating in contact with the skin and without controlling the temperature. It ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel and fibreglass tanks. It then ages for 12 months. 20% goes into oak barrels and 80% into stainless steel tanks. No sulphur is added and it is bottled without clarifying or filtering.
Cantina Margò Bianco is a special natural and biodynamic white wine that is a great way to experience the natural expression of the fresh fruit.
