Berta Lounge is a cava brut from the D.O Cava produced by Bertha. This cava is a blend of 2 grape varieties: Xarel.lo and Parellada.
The grapes used to make this cava grow in various vineyards surrounding the winery, which is located about 2 kilometres from the town of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The viticulture at the winery and vineyards is carried out in an ecological manner, respectful to the environment and fauna of the area.
Berta Lounge is produced using traditional methods, taking advantage of the many years experience in the industry without ignoring the technical and technological advances in recent years. Following traditional methods, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle, caused by the addition of selected yeast and sugar. This turns the wine into cava.
Finally, after the production process, Bertha Lounge rests in the bottle for between nine and thirteen months.
Bertha, having been founded in 1989, has a long history. In 2014, however, the company moved from the center of Sant Sadurní d'Anoiato about 2km out.The new facilitiesstand out fortheir modernityand beauty.
