12/09/16Beronia Crianza 2013THis is a great Rioja, very smooth with a long finish and no rough edges, good for drinking now and over the next 3-4 years. A least as good as Cune Reverva for less money.
07/26/16Beronia Crianza 2012Great wine for the price. Drank it on holiday in Spain in 2016 and loved it. Could not find it in retail shops when returned to the UK. Had to go online to find it and decantalo had the best price.

La Rioja is one of the most important areas of wine production in the world. It has a long history, and exceptional soils and climates. From the Tempranillo and Grenache varieties they make great red wines that are masterfully aged which demonstrates the experience passed from generation to generation.
Beronia was founded in 1973 by a small Gipuzkoan gastronomic society to produce wines only for its own consumption. Nowadays, it belongs to the group of wineries of González Byass, and is one of the Spanish wineries of reference both at a national and international level. Their search for excellence is present throughout the process of producing its wines, which is carried out in the purest and traditional Riojan style, with its own personality, but also leaving the imprint of its renowned "Beronia style". Several and continuous awards and recognitions endorse the quality of their wines.
