Aromas del Silencio Rosado is a rosé wine made by Fuentes del Silencio with the native Prieto Picudo variety in the VT Castilla-León.
Fuentes del Silencio is a winery that was set up in 2013 with the aim of reviving an ancient terroir with great winemaking history. The winery lies in the Jamuz valley, a place that is unique in the VT Castilla-León for its special soil and microclimate. Winemaker Marta Ramas makes unique, small-production wines taking advice from Raúl Pérez.
Aromas del Silencio Rosado comes from 2 hectares of vines aged between 20 and 30 years old, planted in clay-stony soil and lying 850 metres above sea level. They use conventional agriculture, making use of ancient techniques to preserve the environment as much as possible. The harvest is carried out manually, at night and in 15 kg boxes.
Once the grape has been selected in the vineyard itself and at the selection table in the winery, Aromas del Silencio Rosado vinifies at a controlled temperature of 16ºC with gentle pressing. Finally, before bottling, the wine is filtered through natural cellulose plates.
Aromas del Silencio Rosado is a rosé wine from the Jamuz Valley, made with the aim of reviving a classic style with a unique quality.
