Alvear Solera Cream is a fortified wine made of 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes from the D.O. Montilla-Moriles, produced by means of an initial biological ageing for more than 5 years, followed by an oxidative ageing in American oak barrels for an average of more than 15 years.

Tasting notes Alvear Solera Cream

Sight Mahogany colour with amber-golden reflections. Bright. Nose Powerful, deep and sharp aroma. Fine woods aromas are also noticed, but without relevance. Distant floral and notable dried fruit reminiscences. Taste Elegant and silky. Dry, powerful and very large wine. Notable reminiscences of dried fruit. Extremely large finish with a great persistence.

Founded in 1729 by Mr. Diego de Alvear y Escalera, Alvear is the oldest winery in Andalusia and the second oldest one in Spain.
