Alvear Amontillado Carlos VII is a fortified wine made of 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes, a type of Muscat grapes grown in some areas of Spain. It is produced by means of an organic ageing for more than 5 years. This wine goes through an oxidative ageing in American oak barrels for more than 15 years approximately.

SightBright amber-golden colour with mahogany edge. Medium-high robe. Clean with light brown sparkles.NosePowerful, deep and sharp aromas. Distant floral reminiscences and attractive touches of dried fruit. Thin wood aromas are also present, but without a major importance.TasteIn the mouth, it is elegant and silky. Dry, powerful and very wide. Reminiscences of dried fruit , together with saline touches between the old barrel notes, as well as slight floral touches, honey and bitter orange compote. Extremely wide and persistent finish.
