The D.O Alella is located in the vicinity of Barcelona between the sea and the mountains. The wines from this region are the product of small scale vineyards, hidden from the curious eyes of visitors. The vineyards and winemakers have over the years have fought admirably for their survival against the expansion of large luxury urban areas. Luckily they have been successful in their fight, and most of the vineyards in the DO Alella are located under protected areas. The wines here represent a blend between tradition and modernity, the countryside and the city, the sea and the mountains, and the side harmony that combines northern serenity and Mediterranean passion.
Alta Alella is a family project. Having worked widely in the wine world, from Alella and Penedès to Priorat, Rioja and the Ribera del Duero, even in France and Italy as technical director within the Martini group, the combined projects of the Alta Alella cellar and the Cristina Guillén wineshop in Badalona enabled us to create a family project based around the world of wine.

Alella elaborado con uvas de la variedad Pansa Blanca (Xarel'lo) procedente de viñas propias a unos 150-300 metros sobre el nivel del mar. <br /><br />Las uvas se cosechan en muy buen estado sanitario para poder así hacer la maceración peculiar y una buena extracción de los aromas. Después de un prensado ligero para obtener el mosto flor, fermenta en depósitos de acero inoxidable a una temperatura controlada de 15ºC.Alella2016-10-23Organic
