Characteristics of Alonso del Yerro Maria
New vintage of this red wine made 100% from Tinta Fina grapes grown in two different plots, completely expressing the essence of the terroir of the Ribera del Duero. The grapes are picked by hand and then go through a thorough selection process at the winery, where each plot is vinified separately. The fermentation and maceration of the must takes place in wooden vats for 25 days. Alonso del Yerro María 2010 is aged in French oak barrels for 15 months. The climate conditions of this vintage 2010 allow a slow and complete ripening of the grape, starting the harvest on the 24th October.
