Characteristics of Alión
Alión Reserva is a one of the most important and demanded wines in D.O. Ribera del Duero. This wine has been made by Bodegas Alión, a winery owned by one of the most representative groups in the area, Vega Sicilia. It is a single variety Tinto Fino grown from vines that are between 25 to 35 years old. As for the production, it undergoes an aging in new French oak barrels for 14 months and, finally, it stays in the bottle for 18-20 more months before it is released onto the market. Thanks to this process, they obtain a solid wine with maximum expression.
We recommend that you decant it before enjoying as it is in the bottle for a few months and it is good to oxygenate and remove any dregs that have been created.
Serve at 18ºC
We recommend decanting before consumption
